Jerry Palmer
There are many various methods to cheat at casinos and those methods, for sure, didn't appear by themselves. They were invented by talented and risky people, who were the pros of gambling or blackjack cheaters and managed to earn lots of money via casino cheating. One of them was Jerry Palmer. By the way, the pastposting method of cheating was invented by him.
Step by Step
Gambling as a Hobby
Palmer was born in 1948 year. At first, he was a 'good boy', who went to serve for native land and gambling was just a way to relax for him during tough army days. At that time he didn't care about cheating techniques and even didn't thing about the purpose of what to cheat.
Bad Company
Now we are close to the time of new interest for Palmer. After he finished his military service and came back to California, he met his school friend - D. Swenson, from whom the story of cheating began. The last was busy with different illegal stuff like drug dealing and Pastposting Team running.
Before two old friends had met, one more fatal meeting happened: Swenson met Joe Classon, the talented player, who left his trace in blackjack history as a cheater. So, it was a great company consisting from Classon, his girlfriend and Swenson, which used the method of pastposting in Vegas. As a result, they gained one more promising member - Jerry Palmer.
The Inventor
In the 70-s Classon's team successfully used the pastposting way of cheating at roulette and craps. Palmer was first who suggested to try the same technique at blackjack. The team, however, didn't approve his idea as it was really venturesome to do the same things right in front of casino dealers, being in direct contact with them during the game.
The decision of other members didn't stop the young risky man, so he decided to do it by his own. Well, his had dangerous trick had an amazing success: all blackjack tables of the casino were tricked by him in that evening. That is how the blackjack pastposting became to bring the major cheaters' profits for many years.
Palmer played as a team member several more years and then had to quit because of the strong drug addiction. That was the reason of his death in 1994.
